After more than six years of collaboration, Vy has once again selected Twoday as a partner for both Product Development and Data & AI. The agreements are part of Vy’s new framework agreement for IT consulting services, which has a maximum total value of up to NOK 800 million over a period of up to four years.

Through the partnership, Twoday will continue to enhance digital solutions used by millions of travelers every year. Today, Twoday helps develop and operate the digital platform that supports journey planning, ticket purchases, and customer information services for Vy customers in Norway and Sweden. More than one million users rely on the Vy app every month.

Highest quality score

Twoday was selected as a supplier within both the Product Development and Data & AI service areas. In both competitions, the company received the highest quality score among all bidders.

“This is a strong vote of confidence from Vy. We see it as recognition of the long-term partnership we have built over many years, and we look forward to continuing our work to make public transportation even more digital, data-driven, and user-friendly,” says Kristin Nyberg, Managing Director of Twoday Norway.

Building on an established partnership

Since 2019, Twoday has contributed expertise in application development, data analytics, cloud platforms, and integrations. In recent years, the partnership has also expanded to include AI and machine learning solutions that support better decision-making and more efficient operations.

“Digitalization and artificial intelligence are becoming increasingly important for delivering outstanding customer experiences and a more efficient transportation sector. We look forward to combining our expertise in product development, data, and AI with Vy’s ambitions to deliver the next generation of travel services,” says Kristin Nyberg.

The new agreements continue a partnership that began in 2019. Together, Twoday and Vy will further develop digital solutions that make public transportation easier to choose, while leveraging data and artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.
