They produce and supply everything a funeral director needs. With an annual production of 120,000 coffins in the Nordic region, they are the absolute market leaders.

"We are in an industry where tolerance is 0. Our task is simply to produce and deliver on time because delivery reliability means everything in our industry. For many years, we worked with an IT system that was heavy and inflexible. When we were allowed to switch to a system of our choice from the corporate side, it was not a difficult decision," says Ulrich Hein Boe Nielsen, director of Tommerup Heilskov.

The company participated in several seminars and was prepared for the difference between being in the cloud or on-premise. The choice was a cloud-based Business Central, and the desire for a Danish supplier was fulfilled with the selection of twoday RelateIT as a partner.

A requirement to work from anywhere

"The world is changing rapidly. I remember a world without IT, and now, especially with COVID-19, the importance of being able to work from anywhere and have access to everything, even from home, has been highlighted.

It didn't work well with our previous system. With Business Central, it just runs. At the same time, I know there is good security regarding GDPR, and our data is well taken care of," says Ulrich.

With Business Central Cloud as the foundation, Tommerup Heilskov is now ready to explore more extensions for the benefit of the business.

"The process up to now has provided tremendous value. We had a series of workshops with twoday RelateIT, aiming to understand the system but also delve into the countless possibilities for customized extensions the system offers. What we use now is 'need to have' because we went live quickly.

Now, we look forward to working with twoday RelateIT to explore all the surrounding products that can make our processes even more informative, transparent, and usable and, in general, further tailor the system to our business."
